    All the statistical techniques and data described in Statistics for Microarrays have been implemented in the R library smida (under a GNU licence).

  • IMPORTANT In order for smida to work, the lars package needs to be downloaded and installed into R.

    (2/12/04) Compatibility problems of smida with R versions of 2.0.0 or higher have been resolved.
    (26/6/06) Some plotting problems in od function have been resolved.

    The smida library depends on several other libraries (MASS, lars, class, cluster, mva, modreg [in R1.9 the package stats replaces both mva and modreg]) for its smooth operation. These libraries and R itself can either be downloaded below or directly from the R-webpage:
