short bio
Kanat Camlibel was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1970. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in control and computer engineering from Istanbul Technical University, in 1991 and 1994, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tilburg University, in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he held postdoctoral positions at the University of Groningen and Tilburg University, assistant professor positions at Dogus University and Eindhoven University of Technology. He currently holds an assistant professor position at the University of Groningen. Dr. Camlibel is a subject editor for International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control.
research interests
My main research interests are focused on the analysis and control of nonsmooth dynamical systems, in particular piecewise affine and complementarity systems.
